| Error correction or clarification |
* An early biography gave the incorrect
date of birth of May 17th for Pope John Paul II.
The Man Who Leads the Church: An Assessment
of Pope John Paul II by Peter Hebblethwaite
(1980), erroneously reports "His good brain
was fostered by hard schooling -- at Wadowice
in southern Poland, where he was born 17 May 1920
and brought up." Thankfully, very few sources
have ever repeated that error. | |
